Harrisonburg-Rockingham Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition
To address the teen pregnancy rates in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, a volunteer advisory group was created in 1999, consisting of members who are interested in preventing teen pregnancies or who work in a related field. The objective of the Coalition is to coordinate teen pregnancy prevention programs, utilize services, share resources, and gain community support. The Coalition is community-based and members provide perspectives from their agencies, help identify needs, and support the programs of Teen Pregnancy Prevention. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact us at 568-6007 or bairdka@jmu.edu.
